Default B16 case onto ls tranny

I've research, and this Q's is different. I know it fit, but after I install. The tranny seem to have a hard time moving the car. I can get in gear, but the car has a hard time moving. This is in neutral--- Clutch in- fine, Clutch off- and wheel spin at times if not then makes a funny noise.

Also I bought a tranny and got rip off. I can get into 1,3,5 but 2,4,R wont get in gear. 1st and 2nd gear are on the same shaft so I don't know why it would do this. I'll open up this tranny and see what's up. I just want some info to why it's doing this.

I guess time for a helms and rebuild it myself.

I just swap the b16 housing case onto the ls tranny. The old ls housing case cracked.

Second Q's is different.

Sounds to me like you didn't get the c clip on the top of the case that goes around the countershaft bearing. Your countershaft is probably beat if that's what you did. My buddy did that because he couldn't wait 2 days until I could rebuild his tranny for him and he had the same problems you're having. I saw that the c clip wasn't on the bearing and when I took it apart the countershaft was ate up... I had to grab a spare one that I had and a spare ring gear cause they were missing a bunch of teeth. Then I put it back together like it should've been done the 1st time and he hasn't had any problems since.

Whoa thanks. It's worth a try. I think I might have done that. I'll get some pics up soon, opening up the other tranny this weekend also. But thanks again.

I just open the up the ls case. After just 5 mins of looking at it, I try to put the case back on the tranny and now it's having a hard time poping back in place. Same thing as my other ls tranny also. I have two ls and two ls casing. WHats going on?
