Default 01 Civic EX Sedan - Headlight Replacement Options

Hello everyone,

I'm having a hard time finding information on replacing headlights on my civic. I need to install 4-corner strobes (I do D.O.T work) and do not want to pay $200-$300 per assembly from Honda for OEM only to drill into them for the strobes.

I found lights from TYC and Go-Part but I know nothing about them and can't really find any reviews about them either. Would these lights be a good replacement solution for me?

You can view the TYC lights here:
http://www.amazon.com/20-5949-...r=8-5

You can view the Go-Part lights here:
http://www.amazon.com/01-03-HO...r=8-3

Thanks in advance for any help whatsoever!

it would take some luck, but try junk yards first. that'll be the cheapest place.

http://www.car-part.com for junkyard listings or http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for new OEM parts.

Buying either of those aftermarket headlights, you will find, will end up costing you in the long run.

Thanks for the feedback. Junkyard is not an option, I need new.

Why would they cost me in the long run toyomatt84?

Thanks again

They're known for fogging up, and at that point you'd get sick of them and buy another pair. Hence, they'd be costing you more.

Thanks for the reply and warning. That website you listed for OEM parts, is that basically the go-to source for OEM parts at a discount?

Thanks again!

There's a couple places out there that sell OEM parts, and that's one of them.
