Replacing Headlights/Tail lights. Help?

Replacing Headlights/Tail lights. Help?
First, I'd like to say that I'm new to the tuning world. I've always liked cars and trying to get into working on them. Now, I just got my '99 Black Honda Civic EX and I'm probably going to buy new headlights/tail lights. So:
A) Does anyone have any suggestions on a good brand or even more specific, which ones?
and
B) Could anyone provide me with a tutorial on how to replace them.

I was thinking of ordering from here. Would anyone recommend against this?
Also I was looking at These headlights and these tail lights.

I would advise against those. Theyre cheap quality and you wont be taken seriously. What condition are your current lights? If you want new ones, I would strongly recommend at least an Original Equipment (OE) knockoff or a genuine OE set. I got some fake Type R style ones on ebay, not the black ones but the chromeish ones, and they look decent.

When first starting to work on a car, its tempting the follow the crowd and buy the cheapest stuff you can that looks flashy. You have to resist that and do research on here. As you get older your taste will change and you will realize that OEM parts and usually expensive aftermarket stuff is the best looking and the best quality. Its not cheap to do it right.

keep the tail lights. replace headlights with oem ctr's. 4 bolts two on top one on each side. might need to loosen up the bumper too.

Honestly, if you really want projectors like those, get the TYC brand.
You could do a proper retrofit with your stock headlights, and you'd have the best light output possible.
But, like you said, you want to express yourself, so good luck!

@99 HB on air: thanks for the input. I appreciate the recommendation.
@Duc:Thanks.
@yoontim:i'll look into it, but i might go with HB on air's tip.
Now, before the damn people come outta the woodworks calling me a ricer, I'd just like to say that they can suck it.
I want a bodykit for my honda, nothing over aggressive or overdone or just stupid.
I want something that that gives my car a clean, finished, and polished look. instead of aggressive, something slick, something sleek. does anyone have any recommendations for a RELIABLE COMPANY with durable body kits.

just clean your oems up take them apart and paint them. then you have the look you want and they will still perform like oem
lights.
the lights you listed are overpriced ebay garbage
throw some lips on it instead of a body kit, they all look like crap.

Obviously he's not into black housing OEM headlights, OEM lips, anything along those lines. With that said:
Look around for a C-West kit, since you really want a body kit.
Even the Buddy Club kits can be pulled off nicely.
A lot of people will suggest the BYS,Airwalker front bumper as well.
It's not always about OEM or JDM, so make your car YOURS, since you have to drive it, not us.
Good luck with it.
