Default Induction Kit!! Worth it?

Hi all, I have just grought a 98 5 door vti and wondered is it really worth fitting an aftermarket air induction kit "such as a K&N" or is this just a waste of time. Not really looking for vast increase in BHP just like to do all I can to make my car run better, more economical etc. What can I expect from something like this!!

Thanks in advance. By the way these things retail for around £100 \ $200 in the UK

X2, a good filter for the airbox will yeild just as good results on a stock motor as any short ram or cold air intake unless you invest in an expensive intake, such as a cold-air box, or AEM v2 intake.

Yeah a drop in will be best. That way your mpg won't really be effected if you decide to do some spirited driving
