any cold air intake will help performance. i personally dont see an advantage with the short ram intake. ebay got both for $100 or less

i would say a used Cold Air Intake off of the Honda-Tech forums... you will need to wait a little bit before you can use the classifieds but i am sure you would find a great deal.
