Default Integra gsr oil leak

My b18c1 seems to be leaking a small amount of oil by the Vtec solenoid
Heres a pic, I had to turn the brightness up due to my crap monitor.

Just curious if any other gsr owners have had the same leak.

Thanks

you might be due to change the seal for your solenoid. but in the picture you circled your cam cap, so u might be leaking there.

Now that I look at it, I dont know why I circled the cam seal
The oil seems to be coming from between the solenoid and the bottom of the cam seal...guess I should just save myself the headache and replace both.

I have the same leak(s). I changed the cam seal/plug, vtec solenoid gasket, distributor o-ring, and it still freaking leaks. This didn't help you, but I do have the same problems with my motor!

lol yeah..just try changing out your vtec solenoid gasket next. quick and easy for an attempt to stop it from leaking.

I have oil leaking around that area too. It seems to be really wet around below that, near where the B18C1 numbers are. I cant tell if its coming from the head, the vtech solinoid gasket or where else its coming from.

I recently had two separate leaks in the VTEC solenoid, oil leaked down the corner of the block all over the engine stamp and made it look horrible. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to change them out. There's two different gaskets used, you'll probably want to change them both. One is the solenoid gasket with filter, the gasket which seats in between the solenoid and the head. The other gasket is in the solenoid itself, called the spool gasket I believe. I got them both through my local Acura dealer for about 15 bucks, they had to special order the spool gasket though, took only a day or two.

That is EXACTLY where my oil is leaking too. It looks like crap. It must be leaking pretty good too bc im running low on oil and I was full like 2 weeks ago.
