How do I get started?
I have been to the strip before, but I really want to try my hand at auto-x or road racing. I know rules apply, but what kind of events can I enter in with a mostly stock FG2? The most mods I will have will most likely be i/h/e, and maybe a brake upgrade. I still want my car to be very streetable, and mostly stock. But I also want to get out on weekends and throw my car around a little bit. I have no idea where to start. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
ps-I am sure this topic has been discussed. I searched but found nothing that directly helped me.
pps-I am from New Jersey...and pretty much want to keep my traveling on the east coast.

The sticky topic above have lots of good information. Then check out http://www.SCCA.com and http://www.NASAproracing.com . Good luck!
Northern New Jersey region SCCA has a very active autoX program with a good novice program. The run at Englishtown NJ. Go to autoX4u.com
