Default VTEC Problems HELP!!!

OK well the setup is an LS/Vtec P30 pistons,B16 head Skunk2 stage 2 cams, gears, springs, and retainers. Well just recently A bolt from the inner timing belt cover came loose and made one of my cam gears and timing belt mess up. I took the head off and looked for damage, but everything was good. The only things that I replaced was head gasket, timing belt, and Cam gears. Well I started the engine up and my Earl's Oil line to the head was leaking oil and later found it was cracked and broke. I replaced it. and everything was fine. Today coming home from work I tried engaging Vtec, but the engine did not sound the same. Before Vtec would sound super loud and now I feel a less pull and the vtec engagement is just noticed. I checked for low oil or loose plugs, but everything is good. Does anyone have any idea what else it could be or what to look for. I will be checking the oil pressure real soon.

Do a leak down test. That should answer some your questions.

Well the're is no power difference or torque. When vtec kicks in it just doesn't sound or pull the same, but the power never falls off.

You may have messed up more than you know. You may have bent some valves.
