Default CTR pistons in b16a2

I will soon be rebuilding the block on my b16a2 and was concidering running some ctr pistons to raise compression, i know the rods will need to be machined but will anything else need to be modified and what will be the compression?

Thanks

CTR pistons are OK to use and lots of people do/have, but there are better/easier choices out there as far as aftermarket pistons. If you want OEM pistons, I would go with ITR P73 pistons. They're not as heavy as CTR pistons(310 grams for ITR, 327 for CTR, 299 for stock B16)and the compression height/ dome isn't as outrageous as the CTR pistons. I think going with an aftermarket piston set you will have an easier time getting what you want out of the engine instead of piecing it together and hoping you get what you want.

im also doing a b16a2 build and im going with p30 pistons there going to give me about 10.7-1 with the stock headgasket and if i would use a 2 layer i would i think ill be at about 10.9-1 which is right were i wanna be and they are only like $130 which is pretty good price i think.

I am doing the same to my Si. I have been lookin aroud and foun that on Acuraautomotiveparts.org they have ITR pistons, wrist pins and rings for just about 300. OE honda parts are always a plus and they will put you right at 11.1-1.
ofcoarse your going to have to get some block work done to make them fit.

Does anything need to be modified to run the p30s?

And what kind of block work to run the ITRs?

ITR pistons in the B16 block are going to lower compression, not raise it.
