Default wiring harness question

I got a 94 obd1 b18 and a 96 obd2 ek hatch and i got a p28 obd1 ecu and i have the wiring conversion from obd2 to obd1. i was wondering what would be the easiest way to wire everything. i was thinking of buying a obd2 b18 wiring harness or should i buy a obd1 wiring harness.my freidn was saying even if i buy a obd1 harness id still have to do some wiring and do a mix between my stock obd2 hrness and the obd1 because the obd1 wont plug into the firewall i dont know what to do i really dont wanna be cutting and splicing wires together. and it would help if anyone could tell me what harnesses are compatible like b16 wiring harnesses with vtech or somethig thanks it will be alot of help.

You could use a obd2 engine harness but you will have a few unused connectors running a obd1 motor.

I think its best to ahve a custom harness when u do a swap of that sort but if not custom then the harness made for that motor would be best.

hope this helps

I know that the OBDIIA B series harness will plug right into an OBD1 car. However I dont know the other way around. Are you doing a LS or a GSR? whatever you run, just get the OBDIIA Ecu that corresponds with your swap.
