Default Smoke coming from intake

Car has trouble starting and when starts only stays on for a couple of secondz sthen smoke comes out of intake juhhh

What happens when you give it gas after starting? Do you hear any "sucking" noises coming from where the intake is smoking? And is the smoke coming from the actual intake filter? Or from around the manifold?

yes i hear sucking but not a good kind sounds like it is choking and the smoke it coming out of the intake manifold i took off the filter and it poured out

Well I would bet that you have something leaking inside or something is being sucked into the manifold...you need to remove the manifold, or at least look around the manifold and find out what it is...

check spark plugs and make sure the wires from the distributor are going to the right cylinders.

check cap rotor, spark plug wires, spark plugs, timing...

no the TDC sensor is located by your oil pump, i belive you have to take the crank shaft and timing belt covers off to get to it? (dont quote me) it might have come unplugged....

wrong distributor on the motor i changed to the right one and it worked
