hey im posting on a friends User name......But i just swapped a 95 D16Z6 motor in my 99 EK Hatch temporarily till i get my B series....i put the Intake Manifold,Alternator, and Injectors from a 00 D16Y8 Motor onto the 95 D16Z6 Motor...my friend told me i wouldnt be able to use the 99 DX harness with the EX motor without splicing or wutever...so then he tells me to just get a 99-00 SI Harness and everything will be ok....So now i purchased a fresh 99-00 SI Harness the other day and put it in my car...everythings plugs in perfectly besides the Distributor Plug...the plug on the SI Harness doesnt match up to the 00 D16Y8 Distributor Plug...my question is what distributor will i need to use that will plug into the 99-00 SI Harness and fit perfect into the D16Z6 Head??? or is my friend a idiot and i needed a 99-00 EX Harness in the first place???? please help!!!!

There is no such distributor. You'll have to modify either the distributor or the harness.

 

so do i have to cut the plug off the 00 D16Y8 distributor and replace that plug with a 99-00 SI Distributor plug?

 

Only a d16z6, d15z1, or JDM d15b VTEC distributor will fit on your head, and they are all obd1.

 

so wut would u recommend me doing if you were in my shoes...

 

You can either get a distributor that fits the head and cut up the wiring harness, or you can get one that plugs into the wiring harness and do what I did:
