I recently posted a thread about how i have an 87mm bored block and if it's to big to turbo and like i thought everyone said it was. I talked to the guy at the machine shop that's putting it together for me and he said that if i was worried about blowing head gaskets he could put a copper ring around each sleeve and that should stop the head gasket problem. My question is should i do that or should i get a new bottom end like i planned? Thanks for your help i'm new at this building stuff.

 

Sorry i meant a stainless ring around the sleeve not copper, I guess when you clamp your copper gasket down it makes a hellish seal.
