damn LS/VTEC oil line trouble..

Default damn LS/VTEC oil line trouble..

I can't get my SS Oil Line in the red AN Fitting...so i can screw the 2 pieces together....man the strand of the line keep getting barbed..it it won't slide under the Red AN Fitting..i'm so frustered.

twist the red an fitting over the hose counter-clockwise, not clockwise.

Yeah, I delegated a friend of mine to do that when we built my motor. It was a botch, I saw how hard it was for him.

Yeah thats the way to do it. I ve done somany of those things and I still have trouble. I found that the cleaner you cut the hose, no fraying on the ends, the easier it is to turn the fitting on. I also found that it's easier putting on he fittings when you are using bigger lines... -06, -08, -10 etc...

the bigger lines are easier to do i only use 6n line, but the trick is to get as clean a cut as poss, take electrical tape and wrap the end up tight, let it sit for a couple mins squeeze it so it stays round, then take the tape off........ it will slide right on w/ out getting stabbed by the frayed wire
