you can do a search for a swap info.. type R trans is your best bet due to the OEM LSD.. it was a night and day difference for my B20Z after having an LS trans

A b16 transmission or R transmission would be the best for the B20. If you ever consider going B20 vtec throw in a block guard because the sleeves are a weakpoint. Also as the motor sits now make sure you dont go over the stock rev limiter for the B20 or you seriously run the risk of snapping a rod.

If the car is for daily driving and you want short gears, i'd go with the b16 transmission. Although they are both short, the ITR tranny is just killer on gas mileage. My close buddy had a 98 spec ITR swap in his 95 coupe, and he was getting around 250 miles per tank! So it really is as short as people say lol
