Default Fix hatch leak diy how to

Alrighty here's another how to to fix your gaskets on the taillights. Basically I'll show you how to take your lights off for ek hatches.

step 1 open grey panel

step 2 Unbolt 4 8mm nuts inside

step 3 Disconnect wire plug (use fingers and screw driver)

step 4 Replace black foam with gasket. Notice the water leaking.

What it looks like with no lights

Do the steps in reverse to put lights back on. It's highly recomended to use a type of sealent with the gaskets. good luck

Foam is available at any craft store
btw if you are lazy; anyone is interested in premade gaskets for a ek I can make you one for about 6 bucks.

Great visual! I experienced the same with my EG! I actually used the remainder of some window sealant I used for my motor mounts to seal mine up. It definitely worked! Just recommend using a small bead though.
