Pool of water in EK hatch trunk.
I have a leak somewhere in my EK hatchback because When ever it rains and it does alot in seattle, I develop this pool of water in the bottom of my trunk where the spare wheel is.
I'm wondering if any of you ek hatches have this problem?
A possiblity of how water gets in is there is like 3 1 inch rips around the weather stripping lining thing on on the bottom part. But I dont see it wet around that area... hmm..
anyone have a idea?

Re: Pool of water in EK hatch trunk.
I have a 97 Hatch. There were two leaks. Both taillight gaskets were leaking and the roof seam had cracks in the sealer under the black rubber strips runs along the roof. The cracks were near the hatch door hinges.

Check the hatch seal and the taillights seals, if the taillights is missing the nuts that hold it on it will leak through the area that the nut seat on.
