Default new oil pump top line and pressure problems please help out last fix in the motor!!!

After assembling the motor the red light turned on and so we tested the pressure from the oil and it was barely nothing. So we ordered a new oil (top line) pump and a new oil filter nippon. After assembli9ng everyhting together we turned in the motor and the pressure at idle is at 15 psi and when reving the car it goes to 30psi. what could be causing this??? any thoughts. Man this is really stressing me out since the whole motor is ready everything is new and this seems to be my only problem....please really need help with this.

Did you put the oil restriction back in the block? It is under the head gasket about a 12mm plug with an o-ring around it.

i will check the valve relief and spring. after i will check the oil pickup. I think the oil restriction was never removed at all.

today more bad news i took the car out to see if at least he mantained that low pressure but seems everything went wrong since the red light came on gain and stayed on so i put the car back in the garage.

and yes it has a pickup gasket but it is a thick one.
