where can i get replacment spring rates for my k sports. i want softer, somewhere around 350f, 280r. does anyone know the OTS spring rates for k sport 94-01 integra coilovers? i bought this car with them already installed, thats why i dont know much about them
I currently have the same problem you have. I bought my 94' civic HB and it already had ksport control coilovers on it. very very stiff ride. I think the rating for your car are, front: 13kg/mm - 728lb/in and the rear is: 7kg/mm - 392lb/in.
I'm pretty sure thats way above the factory rating so it probably rides like crap just like mine. I was looking into buying replacement springs for mine but the ksport rep told me I shouldn't go more the 2kg below the original rates because of the valving inside the shock. http://www.yoparts.com sells replacement springs at good prices even without the membership, about $36.00x4+ shipping. they call them universal springs(under the ksport name), the ksport website calls them "racing springs". http://www.ksportusa.com
I've deceided to sell mine because I won't be able to even get close to the factory ride. I don't want to chance it with putting too soft of a spring in and causing damage, then not being able to sell them for something I could really use.
I think ksports are more of an autoX or racing setup, not really the best for a DD
I'm looking into getting the tokico ILK strut/spring kit. Hope some of this helps.
