I ordered a Performer X manifold online from Rogue Works LLC on Nov 19th and received a confirmation email that included the invoice. A week or two went by and I never received it, I also never received an email saying that it had been shipped. I sent an email asking if they shipped it. I did not receive a response, so I sent the email again a few days later. I finally received a reply saying that it was backordered. I found two things weird, one, they charged my credit card on Nov 19th, when I ordered it, even though it was backordered. From my experience, vendors don't usually charge you for merchandise until it ships. Two, I never received an email saying it was backordered until I inquired about it.

Anyway, it wasn't a big deal at the time because I had the money and I was in no rush for the manifold. I figured I would just wait until it came in. I emailed them a few times between Nov and Jan to get updates, sometimes they responded, sometimes they didn't. They said that it was still backordered and there is no date that they are expected in. I finally found a HT member that was selling a new one for less than Rogue Works, so I bought it from him. On Jan 12th I sent an email to Rogue Works asking them to cancel my order and credit the money back to my credit card. I received an email from them on Jan 14th that said "no problem."

It is now Feb 11th and I still have not been credited or received the manifold. I have sent multiple emails to Rogue Works since Jan 14th with no response. I finally got to the point a few days ago that I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company to try and get the money back. I just hope that it works because the charge is from November.

Has any else had any experiences like this with Rogue Works LLC?

 

Call your credit card company and cancel the purchase and get the manifold from someone else.

 

 

Yeah...I'm in the middle of disputing the charge with the credit card company now. Had to fill out a form and fax it to them at the end of last week. I just hope it works.

I forgot to mention in my original post that I even tried to call Rogue Works using the phone number on their website and the one on my credit card statement. They never answer and the machine that finally picks up won't let you leave a message. It just says call back later.

 

hmm, that sux that it was backordered. i was thinkin of buying one from them. they seem to be decent to work with when they have the products in stock.

 

There a Good Customer of ours, I know that the performance x manifold has been on back order for sometime, last order I know only 5 of 100 came in to feel back orders I kinda of took 2 sorry. So only 3 of 100 backorders got filled from thier california supplier. I have 2 B16 manifold instock if Terry needs one shipped out for you just contact him and I would gladly ship one to you on his behalf. Let me know!

Also I have never had a problem with them they have always been prompt with payment and confirmations good company in my book.

I mainly deal with him over AIM but I havnt seen him on lately if i see him I will let him know, im not trying to get envoled to much Im mearly trying to help a little
