So, I had a lot of fittings etc to buy for my fuel system. I ended up placing 3 orders, one at bakerprecision.com, one at anplumbing.com, and one at summitracing.com.

All three orders were placed last monday, the 18th. Each site sent me a confirmation email stating that they had received my order and would contact me if anything was back ordered, etc.

I received a call on tuesday the 19th from Baker Precision, stating that the Viton O-rings I had ordered were not in stock. I asked if they had the Buna O-rings... and since those were in stock I had them send those to me instead. I was told I would receive an email with tracking information when my order shipped.

I received my summit racing order on Wednesday the 20th (Shipped from NV to CA)
I received my anplumbing.com order on Thursday the 21st (Shipped from CA to CA)

I did not receive my baker precision order last week (being shipped from CA to CA). I waited until yesterday to see if the order was delivered... and it was not. So I drafted up a nice email to them asking whether my order had been shipped, and whether there was a holdup on any of the other items in the order.

I waited until about 12pm pacific time today for a response to my email. I just decided to go ahead and call them up. So I call, and they tell me that the order shipped out on Friday (??).

I get home and the box is at my house. Open it up, and two of the hose ends that I /really needed/ were not in the box. The invoice shows them as backordered. They did charge my card for them, though.

Is this not something they could have told me last week? I just went to summitracing and ordered the hose ends from them just now... $10 says I receive them before the end of the week. I emailed baker and told them to cancel the other items off my order.

I have ordered from baker precision in the past, and they always lag on shipping. Arturbo told me that he ordered some stuff two weeks ago and is still waiting for them to ship it/contact him about it.

So, I think I'll stick to summit and anplumbing in the future. I just need to get my stupid car running.

Yeah, everytime I order they are out of something. Sometimes they'll ship a piece of silicone then two weeks later they ship out an AN fitting... LOL

i order stuff from summit, jegs and an plumbing with no problems yet... iv had some stuff on back-order but never waited more than 2 weeks to recieve it after i ordered it... anything i cant find online... i generally get locally... the couple of $ i save id rather spend knowing i can go to someone personally if there are any issues

Same here dustin. Dustin and I already talked about this today, but yeah they suck. I have ordered from them in the past, but the last two orders have taken forever. This order will be the last.

i ordered a 8.8 JE PISTON and EAGLE rod and they shipped it next day.

they also hooked me up with some intercooler oil ! to baker precision
