Default ITR started blowing smoke

Well heres what happening. I have a mostly stock ITR never smoked but burned a little oil when in vtec but if your driving out of vtec alot oil was fine. I got JDM header test pipe lightened flywheel and ported head. Not until I got a p28 made for ITR that I got some blueish smoke. What should I check first sensors go to a high flow cat. Is there anything else that needs to be changed along with the obd2 to obd1 ecu. I just bought a hondata s300 so it will be tuned soon but any input would help.
