Help me choose my suspension!! :)
So I'm looking over my ideas for suspension.
I'm looking to spend somewhere near 600 or so.
Heard about the Koni/GC setup or the tokico setup or Skunk2 Pro setup...
Looking for a Verrrry SOFT setup.
Girlfriend hates bumpy rides, wants to feel like she's on air lol
Close to stock is prefered.
Anyone?
Thanks.

For just a little more you can go with the Omni Power street coilovers. I believe the rates are 12k in the front and 10k in the rear, not sure though. My friend has them on his integra and they ride great
Very smooth and the handling isn't compromised either!

Koni Yellows, KYB AGX, or Tokico Illuminas and Eibach Sportlines or Prokit lowering springs.

What is wrong with the stock suspension already on the car?

Then it's not going to be soft, comfortable, or ride like stock. Not even close.
Especially if you insist on using adjustable coilovers.

Looking to buy a suspension today or tomorrow. SOFTTT prefered.
Looking for an adjustable dampner.
I have around 800 to spend on the setup. I already purchased camber kits.
I'm thinking of the following setups.
PIC, F&F t2, or GC/Koni setup.
Anyone have an idea?
Which is the best for a good daily driver that will be lowered about 2.25" and girlfriend riding in the car alot.
LOOKING for a soft setup. Which is the one i'll want?
Thanks,
Jeff aka stince

Alright, you want to lower your car 2.25'' yet you want a soft ride?
Soft and low= no. You'll be bouncing all over the place and bottoming out.
If you want to go low, you'll need stiffer springs, plain and simple.
Why did you buy a camber kit? What car is this for?
I've heard good thing about PIC, I don't have much to say for FF, you should already know the GC/Koni set-up is the choice of many, including me.
Before you rush out and spend money on suspension, I suggest you spend some time reading up.

I recently bought GCs with custom rates and put them on Koni Yellows...
I immediately had to go higher with the springs rates because on a 2" drop all around I bottomed out waaay too often.
Anything less than 420lb front spring rate and you WILL bottom out, and you will rub on good turns (on a 2" drop)
I had 325lb springs in the rear and those were fine...but in the end I took those 375lb springs from the front and put them in the back, and got brand new 430lb springs for the front.
It's still a liiiittle bit soft for the weight of the motor on a 2" drop, but it's definitely better than the soft *** 375lb springs.
Edit: And no...you don't want the skunk2 pro-s. That's what I had before my current setup (which I love), and it was the bumpiest ride ever. Keeps you glued to the road, but you get no adjustability, and it makes YOU the damper. I have video proof on my youtube profile

i have been reading plenty.
GC/koni is favorited.
i just want more opinions on setups.
Springs rates.
I want around a 2" drop.
Just looking for a good setup. And i've seen lowered and reasonably soft.

I merged your two threads. There's no need to have two threads on the same topic on the front page.
Again, you're not going to get a soft ride with the ride height lowered 2" on coilovers. Your best bet in that case would be air bags or air cylinders.
You're going to have to compromise and go with a more mild height to maintain a comfortable ride. Tein S.Tech springs paired with Tokico Illumina adjustable dampers would give you an excellent ride and reduce the ride height about 1.5-1.6".

If you want it any lower, I'd recommend the H&R Sport springs with Illuminas.
Don't forget to have the car aligned after installing the new springs.

I'm debating getting koni yellows with eibach sportlines?
I already purchased a camber kit.
I just need a suggestion>
Springs // shocks will probably be the best way i guess.
So stechs look alittle too high
Whats the next best step?
