how do you like your TEIN S-TECH springs?
im looking into these springs for an ek. how do you guys like these springs? is it worth spending the money? if you have pics of tein S-TECH springs on a EK. can you post em. thanks.
We have a set on our 99 SI and it rides really good. We only paid like 80 bucks for them so i would say they are worth the money. And here is a pic for your viewing enjoyment...
You can see my EH3 in my garage. She's lowered on Tein S-Techs and KYB AGXs. I road race/autocross once in a while and they do great, although if I did this competitively in a league I'd probably get some springs with more rate to them. All in all, a great daily-driver/weekend racer spring that I am 100% happy with.

i have a set on my 00 ek with kyb gr2 shocks - ride is awesome - aggressive yet stock... good feel.
i like them because it gives the car enough drop to look good and not enough to bottom out on anything....
i don't know how to load pics but i can email you some -
i have them on my car with 17s and 15s

I had those Tein S-TECH authentic ones with the imprints on them and not stickers. They were very smooth and they only lowered my old EG enough so it wouldn't scrape and handling really improved since the car was so light, it looked like it was raised on the stock springs.
that looks like a good height. Coming from a coilover guy thats good advice for those looking for advice on how much drop. I had my gc/konis dropped to where they were tucking into the wheel well and its really bad for going over speed bumps and your bumper hits on everything and the shock bottoms out on the bumpstop too easily. About 1/2-1 inch of gap is perfect for streetablility.

i know its an si and you wanted ek pics... but i got 15's on there with 60 aspect ratio on the tires... i think they look better with 16's IMO
i paid like 150 for mine brand new, and like everyone else said, not too soft and not too hard. not too low but low enough. good for the $$
I keep getting told to lower it more, but I already can't go to certain parking lots and have trouble getting in and out of some other ones. I suppose it's a flood precaution they use here since most parking lots seem to be raised above the roadway.
I believe they're 1.5/1.75.
I don't want a harsh ride and I prefer stock for hte most part. So I like the ride they give as far as springs go.
I personally would like a full set up in the future, but for just springs, I'm very happy with them.

The ride is not at all comparable. H&R is stiffer and rougher, but not horrible like the Skunk2s. The H&R Sports ride about .2 inches higher than the S-Techs do.
Oh, and I see no problem with bumping a thread like this after so long. It's still exactly on topic and it's nothing like the bumps that are just there to say "nice car" after three years or so.

I guess, but if I am not mistaken, there is a thread that specifically shows drops and what they are on. There are so many people on S. techs that by using the search function, he could have gotten more pictures than they knew what to do with..

No, but the genius who bumped it 2 years out of retirement was looking for more pics.
