99-00 civic /hatchback tein stech s-tech springs
hi all. i was wondering if anyone has tein stech springs on their 96-00 civic or civic hatchback? i have a 99 civic hatch and i am curious what the stech's 1.9 front and 1.7 rear would look like on my car. seems like its not low enough but heard they are great. anyone have any pictures? been hella tryin to find pics of them on a civic before i buy em and install.
i have them on my 97 Coupe, on stock shocks (shh dont tell anyone)
i love them, they arent too harsh at all and the drop imho is perfect. They actually settled quite a bit, i would guess about 2" lower than stock.
i would recommend them, i love mine!

Picture of my car with stech springs... like vtecvoodoo said, there are better springs, specifically eibach springs since you can get what ever rate you want... They do make the car look nice and its a similar to stock ride, but mine are comming off soon enough for a more road race setup. If you're looking for show...id suggest them, for anything else... i would not suggest them.

Exactly! If you want to slam your car, or have your car sit pretty low with barely any wheel gap, these are not the springs for you, go with the H&R or Nuespeed Race Springs. The s-tech springs are nice if you dont care about looks, it gives your car a nice stance and not a 4x4 look, and rides extremely nice. My friend has them on his 98 ex coupe, with 15" rota slips, and there is easily a two finger gap front and rear. But they are a nice spring for track or something a little stiffer.

so you think im better off with eibach, hr n neuspeed aye? hmm. well i wasnt totally in for the drop ( i thought 1.7-1.9 was just perfect) and i wa smore into the ride, but now thinkin about it, it seems that the teins arent low enough althoguh the ive heard numerous positive feedback from it. i guess ill just have to look around more. if anyne else has more pics thattll be great. o yeah thanks for the pics by the way, your ride is slammin. just a question : if i do decide on the stechs, will i need a whole new camber kit?
No one is saying they are bad... like i said before...if your only lookin for looks go for it....if you want more performance out of them get something else.
What size wheels are those? Also when you installed the hood pins did you use the hole on the radiator support that is already there? Do you have any closer pics of the hood I want to see how you installed the hood pins?
