Properly tuned a/f ratio I say 10 to 12 psi, there are other variables to consider but if the car is daily driven, and would like to keep it reliable I woudln't go any higher. Remember reliability and longevity are 2 different things.

I say 10 to 12 psi,and would like to keep it reliable I woudln't go any higher. Remember reliability and longevity are 2 different things.

boosting 12 on stock internals on a b16 is a gamble, if i were you i would do 6 psi daily, and 10 psi at the track, maybe one run with 12 but it will probably do some damage. Good luck!

high compression = not alot of boost. Prob 6 lbs will b safe. 12 lb will b pushin it.
use low compression pistons, and thicker head gasket, and u can use more boost. 15+
