Default B16A2 Safe Boost?

how much PSI can i run safely on a stock B16A2?

Way to many people ask this...

Once again, there's no "safe psi" you can run. On a stock block I would not run more then 10 psi ( again there's no set number!) sure your buddy with a b16 swap was running 18 psi for 3 years I don't care. To keep your car in good working condition and decent hp I would grab a 8 - 10 psi spring and just keep it there. Other's will disagree but this is my person opinion.

i ran 12 lbs on my b16a2 and made 351.

you can run almost any boost. timing is what the questions should be...which is directly related with the amount of boost you run.

timing? if i boost, how should i adjust timing?

thats done through the tune. its when the ecu tells the spark plug to bark. whoever tunes it will do all the tuning with timing. you just gotta tell them how much boost or power you wanna run.

sweet thank you man! that clears a lot of stuff up. How much would a tune cost regularly?

depends on what its tuned on. find a local tuner or performance shop and they can tell you or get you in the right direction.
