why would you want to disable the knock and 02 sensor? The O2 controls the fuel mixture, except when under full throttle, so depending on how the ECU is tuned, you may or may not pass. If you are going to mess around with the ECU, you are better off just getting a programmable ECU, and doing it right the first time. If you can't afford that, you are better off not messing with the ECU at all.
Judging by your previous post, you are looking for the right ECU for your car: I don't know too much about the Accords, so whatever year car your came out of, look it up here and get the ECU you need.

a good tuner doesnt necessarily need closed loop operation (no O2 aid)

and passing emissions depends on what testing is done. If it is just a sniffer test and you are below the threshold then you will pass. Consult your emissions testing regulations.

agreed. Also, the stock knock system is not the most useful due to the limited effective range and it's susceptible to false detection. If the tuner has the ability to disable it while provides a margin of safety via proper ECU programming, it's not such a bad thing.

this depends on the type of testing. Here in Pa iin the imediate philadelphia area on all obd2 vehicles operated above 5000 miles for the year its a plug in test. On obd1 vehicles its a sniffer test on the emissions dyno. Therefore if your obd1 there are ways to beat the system if your obd2 its either stay under 5000 miles so that your exempt or your screwed, unless you know somebody . But basically you have to find out what type of test they do in your area because every county of every state can be different.
