WELDING IN CAGE?
Where's a good place of welding a 6 pt cage in the back of the rear end of hatchback EG or CRX ? I want to know if there's a preference of welding the rear cage pipes to the back on the chassis part or on the wheel well near the shock tower. I tried looking for info, but no results. Also pictures would be nice of rear cage weld in those places I'm talking about. I know nhra rules shows needed to be welded with plate, but in a import where would it be best welded at!

I build a box, it meets and exceeds the 6"x6" plate rule. I do them for both Road Race and drag Race cars. Sometimes I will make them less than a box with round edges depending on what the customer is doing.
I like attaching the plate/box to the uni-body frame rail and shock tower. Everybody has their opinion on what is best.

that's nice. I've also seen people have a bar straight across both the shock tower, and then weld both rear pipes on the straight bar. let me see if I can find pictures!

That's not the right way to do it. Bars should meet at the ends, never in the middle of another bar. This puts too much stress on the side of the bar and can cause it to fail. The pic up above is what you want to do.
