I have a 92 integra RS automatic. I was driving down the street and all of a sudden my car completely died when it died I noticed that the check engine light turned on. I pulled to the side and put a jump wire in my obd tester i got no flashes. When i got it home(BY AAA) i startrd messing with it and the first thing i noticed was that when i turned the key i did not here the fuel pump kick in or the fuel injectors eather so i went to the junk and got a fuel pump relay i found it bought it and put it in but no luck. so i moved to the next step witch was dropping the tank to check the fuel pump but it works fine. the car cranks over and everything but it does not fire up please help on what i should try next im frusterated.

 

check your ecu fuse!

 

u got spark?

 

distributor.

 

i would check:

1) If your injectors are getting fuel
2) Getting spark
3) Check all fuses
4) Try another ecu/ Double check all ecu pins on the harness are in tact
5) Change out dizzy, more then likely it could of gone bad
6) check to see if your timing belt hasnt snapped

i would try those..and get back to us

 

Cool thanks for the ideas ill check all of them out and ill get bak at you guys. By the way my buddy has a crashed 1990 integra manual trans. and he said he would let me use the ecu to test it out is it compatible???? thanks for all your help.

 

na manual and auto ecu's r diferent it mite start it but ur not gona b able to drive it and i dont even think itl let u start it

 

no they are the same! the automatic transmission has it on computer(ecu)
