HID Questions
Hey guys I have a 1992 Acura Integra I am going to do the JDM one piece headlight conversion and I wanted to do HID's also but had a couple questions.
1) they are still 9004 bulbs correct?
2) Are all 10000K kits going to look the same color wise? Some sites have some that look a lot whiter than others.
3) Also what is the bulb for the Fog light I think I am going to switch that over to a lower HID like a 4300K or 6000K
4) Do I have to do a retrofit or would just the bulbs be ok?
Any advice would be great I am new to HID's I am going to do the 10000K conversion on my motorcycle I think.

first off, i wouldnt recomend getting 10k HID, its useless, unless u dont care about seeing anything and all ur care about is looks. Second, anything more than 3k for fogs is gonna be to bright and u might get pulled over for that, idk wat the bulb is. The purpose of retro fitting is to get a better light patter and to be able to use an oem HID set up. If you just plan to buy a plug and play kit u dont need to retro fit.
Retrofit with HIDs is the only way to go. If your not going to retrofit then its a waste of money because you could easily go on ebay buy some cheap bulbs for your high beams and just drive around with high beams on.
10k 8k 5k etc refer to the temp scale like this one:

Why would you want 10k? Thats pretty much purple, are you gay?

I've had 10000k HID's ina couple of my cars, when I got my integra I got 8000K, and they are much brighter
, my next kit would probably be the 6500K, these guys know what they're talking about, don't get the 10000K

He does have a good question in there though.
Are all the 10,000K (or WHATEVER K; for arguments sake) going to be the same color...brand to brand?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Generally yes.
