horn problem

Default horn problem

my horn just stopped working on my 98 lx, i have airbag steering wheel, i checked the the horn it doesnt get any signal from the wires, what can i do to fix it? if its a fuse problems just tell me where can i find it.

when it's quite push the horn button. If you hear a little click/tick that's your relay. if you don't here it then the relay is bad. it's under the collum. if you do here the relay, then use a volt meter and work your way outward towards the horn. when you stop getting power that's there the break/short is. that's could be the problem. check the horn with a 12V power suply and see if it sounds. if it doesn't then it could ALSO be the horn. it could have just died or if you had a slight fender bender, since it's right behind the bumper it could have caused it. well i'm more of a 5th gen guy, not a 6th. BUT... i can take a pretty good stab. it's located under your dash board, by the steering columb. it's noot like a normal fuse. it's a blocky type. and it should be somewhere on the side closer to the columb (asuming the fuse box is on the left side when sitting in the car) but it's be on the back side so you might want to unbold it so you can turn it a little.
