Bad Oxygen Sensor, whats the life span?
I thought it was interesting, I took my car to Honda to get a tune up a little over 4 months ago, and I barely put 3k miles on it since then. But in late DEC I had to take my car to get emission tested and I passed no problem. But last week my car threw a cel. I went to AutoZone and they plugged their scanner thing in and it came up saying my Oxygen Sensor being defective.
my ride has 135k on it.. just curious if it's normal for it go out around that milage

I believe the manufactures suggest replacing them at 120,000mi
Your car has two O2 sensors one before the cat and one after or in it.
Some do go out earlier too so 135K isn't to bad.

I have a D16y7 so the one sticking out of the cat right after you pop the hood is the one before the cat correct?
either way I have to head to AutoZone tomorrow.. it was priced at $89.99 for the sensor

Honda doesn't have a replacement interval on em. They can crap out at any time, the check engine light will usually let you know when.
