Default Turbo T3/T4

I have a 2000 honda civic dx automatic,i found a guy who is selling a t3/t4 turbo for 400. I was wondering if it would be good for my civic. would it work well with my tiny *** engine?? its a piece of **** engine, only thing i can do to it is swap it or boost it this way seems more economical. any help with this would be great.

If all you have to say about your engine is bad things, maybe you shouldnt. You'd probably just get more problems. Get a motor thats worth it first.

What do you plan on doing with just a turbo? and if you have a shitty motor boost isnt going to help.

Who is the turbo manufacturer? What trim is the turbo? What exactly is your motor lol. It was never stated. I can only assume it's a single cam of some type...

its a DX so it has a D series engine. i mean an engine swap is out of the question. too much money and that is a problem now. its the most basic civic engine, SOHC and it is not vtec. i would love to make it faster but....... only thing i have done to it is drop an AEM cold air intake in it and thats about it. im not sure the specs for the turbo but i will find out. also if i put an aftermarket cam shaft, will that make it equal to a DOHC engine???

If you've got no faith in the "D", then swap it. Seems like you'll lose interest halfway into it...
