Could be a fuel issue if your too lean. Generally that would indicate theres not enough fuel (Lean is more air than fuel). Your fuel input may be getting restricted by a bad fuel filter or clogged injectors.

What tpye of motor do you have? What ECU is running it? What significant mods do you have done to the motor?

cant be the injectors cuz i just got a tune up and that was checked by the dealership the only mod is a short ram intake. could it just be a bad o2 sensor?

I dunno if this will help you, but my wifes truck just had the same code and it ended up being a vacuum leak in the pcv system. I would check something like that and make sure it's not something cheap/easy like a vacuum leak first.

A going-bad 02 sensor would cause the car to run rich, as would a broken one as well. When the 02 sensor stops reading, the ECU both 1.) Throws a CEL, and 2.) Runs richer than its supposed to, which kills gas mileage, and causes your motor to generally run sluggish.

How many miles on your car? OEM Fuel pumps, (using as example), rarely ever break, but should that be the problem, it would be whats causing your car to run lean.

well it has been running sluggesh and it takes longer to get up to speed since it came on. i have about 121k. do do u think i should try to take it back to the dealer and have them fix it since something like that is covered under the extended emissions warrenty?

It may be. It definatly wouldnt hurt to bring it back and let them look at it.
