okay, a few weeks ago, i removed my entire alarm system. it was a rattler 300. very old, lol. i got it installed back in like 01-02, something like that. anywho, as my car was sitting for the past 6 months do to minor problems, it drained my battery and made it bad. so i removed the system. problem is, since i have removed it, i have no radio power or ac power(whatever the cigarette lighter plug is) and i have no idea what i did. I retaped all my lines back together as i removed stuff. only thing that is weakly connect is this little yellow connector that goes in the far back side of my fuse box on the drivers side by the dead man. i plan to hit up a junkyard for this connector when i get time. and i can't find any of my manuals to tell me what this connector does. any ideas what i should check for.

huh. i don't have an air bag issue, and i have no light due to the issue. i pulled my radio fuse and it was good. i didn't pull all the fuses though.
yes, i'm just stating that when you have a yellow connector it simply states that it is part of the restraints. Yellow connectors, yellow wire sleeves, anything. It is a federal mandated factory identification. That particular connector is the steering wheel module disable/isolation connector.
Your power outage issue has nothing to do with that, I know. I was just telling you what that connector was. You said you didn't know what it did. Get a helms repair manual. Or get on alldatadiy.com and get yourself an account. There are all the resources you need to diag. wiring issues.

okay sorry, jgaccorn. i get it now. i was thinking you were saying that a yellow light on the dash means srs. i have parts a pdf version of the helms that i got from honda swap but its so many pages that skimming thru it, if i have it, i can't locate it. and i can't find my haynes manual. i figure it would have been in the haynes. i checked the back up. in fact i pulled every fuse i had in both locations during the super half time. and they were all good. what ever it is, its gonna take me while to find the problem. some where i guess the alarm tapped into the radio.

okay, well those are the two places i checked and i didn't find any with burn out or even partially burnt filaments in the center of the fuse. maybe i have a grounding issue or a burning wire somewhere that i need to run down when i have the chance.
Aiite man, luckly i'm pretty bored right now.....
Yes your radio / cig. lighter is fuse #36 in the underhood block. The cig. lighter relay power / (radio antenna) fuse is #11 in the i/p block. The radio back-up, PCM, Clock, and TCM (V6 only) is fuse # 39 in the underhood block.
Memory is fed from the #39 fuse through a white/yellow wire into connector C429 (white connector behind left side of dash) and then through a white/yellow wire to each component. This is your memory circuit. It is hot at all times.
Fuse #11 powers the cig lighter relay coil which is protected through fuse #36. The relay must have power through Fuse #11 for the radio to turn on. Fuse #11 is a white/yellow wire which is fed through C414 (green connector above left kickpanel) , through the relay coil and to ground. It is key on power.
Fuse #36 is fed through a red/white wire, through the relay activated by fuse #11 and then through a white/red wire to the radio. Once again, key on power activated by fuse #11.
Ground #405 is the ground for your radio it is located beside your Cig. lighter relay which is mounted on the metal center console support under your radio. It is on the right side.
Ground #401 is the ground for the relay it is located behind the left dash right above and to the left of C429.
Ok i'm gonna stop now.
Check your Cig. lighter relay. If all the fuses are good. If not, TRACE AWAY!!
This is all from All Data. I am lucky enough to have it at my house!
Hope this helps ya man.

okay. cool. will do. do you have a helms or something. i need to get one but i don't want to have to buy 2 of them. i'd need one for my actual car and one from a prelude to be more specific for the motor and tranny stuff. the
I have All Data which has everything for every car from 1980 - 2007. Domestic, Asian, European you name it. I don't have any paper anymore. I carry my laptop to work and use it for everything.
Go to http://www.alldatadiy.com and get yourself an account. You pay a yearly fee per car. I think it's $25 for 1 car. Each additional car is $15. So for $40 bucks you have both cars front to back. Well worth it. Alot easier that keeping pages grease free and intact. I have the full program, All Data Pro. Pretty expensive but you have to have it in a shop.
