So I get out of the gym and start driving home. I'm scanning the presets on my Pioneer HU to find a song, and I notice my display screen isnt working. So I play with the radio gently hitting buttons and taking the faceplate off. Now it doesn't work at all. No sound or display.

 

maybe you blew a fuse. Radios need 2 see voltage on 2 lines: acc and battery.

I guessed that but thought not because it half-worked for a little while.

Is it possible the fuse held together enough to maintain enough power to keep the radio working but not the display?
