i was around 140-150 on normal days w/ ambient about 80-90's

jabso pump...huge cooler 5 gals + & about 10' of 3/4" piping was my capacity...w/ a motorcycle radiator as a heat exchanger

using a denso core custom a/w intercooler...

for a street car...air to air is much better....but i wanted an ultimate sleeper...that hell even my turbo buddies couldnt tell it was boosted from the outside heh

145??? wow i didnt think yalls temps got up that high with A2W set ups

mine at a little over 700hp was right around 90 degrees and i am using a front mount with the Carbon AIR/Endyne intake manifold

i have had it drop into the low 70s on the dyno and into the 40s with ambient pretty close to the same temps

if you saw my I/c you'd understand...it was a tiny 4X6" core w/ minimal fins...and it would start out alright....90-105's...but the more i drove...the worst it got...great for the track and when i had ice in it i would see low 60-70's....but aside from that...once it got hot the car ran mediocre...and was a pita to tune my iat correction tables...it would run perfect around 120's...but around 130+ it wouldnt idle right etc...

but then again i barely drove my car more than 30 min at a time...so it really didnt matter to me and worked for what i wanted...sleeper...and any time i was going out for a rip or two i was always makin a stop at 7-11 and dumpin in 2-3 bags of ice...which would last around 15-20 min of good boostin

if i went back and did it all over again...i would be running a better core...or even at that and a/a unit...but like they say hindsight is 20/20...and i was a newb when i first started piecing mysetup together

oh ok, now i see. I was actually considering going A2W and want to really weigh out the pros and cons, so more info on this would be great, plus i can still keep my carbon manifold

My MAT temps are a very consistent 20-25*F over ambient, whether street dirven or at track (road course) days; at idle or wot. I run a 2 gallon resevoir with coolant and water-wetter. The coolant is pumped via an 80gph bilge pump to a 6" X 10" heat exchanger mounted in front of the main radiator.

A2W is more efficient that A2A but it is also more complex; having more components. A2W is also more compact which in my installation was the determining factor.
