well maybe if the man upstairs deems you worthy enough to get your same car back you'll realize it's a privilige to have one (your license as well).

Im not trying to harp on you....I've done my fair share of it too. Just try not to be too incredibly bitter if you don't get it back. There is a huge amount of EF's out there. I'm sure you'll find one you like and can work over.

What was your setup by the way?

I'm glad you were forced to get rid of your car and I hope you're forced to drive a Geo Metro for the rest of your life. Street racing is beyond idiotic.

Lock this ish.

I'm gonna have to AGREE with "the man" on this one...come on bro...its a good thing that getting a ticket and having to sell your beloved was the worst...i dont know if you heard about the accident in FLORIDA about the five guys that died on a landing strip in an M5 doing supposedly 140 plus...but lets just say that theres no one to tell the story. And i'm sure that you can find another EF easily...their great cars...appreciate them...ALONG WITH YOUR LIFE AND EVERYONE ELSE'S AROUND YOU!!

hey bro, im still 17 and when i bought my first car (prelude vtec), i was street racing and i crashed it into a curb, almost hit a pole, and almost hit someone's house, i didnt know the road i was on and i hit the curb and plus-100mph in a 25. once i found out my car was totaled and i got my liscense so close to being taken away i stopped being so stupid.

im still young and i mess around once in a while, but only on empty highways with friends when there are no one on them. its not worth risking other's lives, but if u chose to have a little fun just make sure you will be the only one who is hurt and not be the cause for anyone else's death.

good luck with the getting a new ef and slow down bro

At least you were given the option of selling your car. I've seen videos of street racers getting their cars impounded for ILLEGAL street racing and or having stolen parts/engines in their cars and then watching their cars get crushed at the junk yard.

EFkilla...relax...i'm pretty sure lots of us have done something as dumb as that because you only get to be YOUNG once, and im sure some of us have more sense now from listening to all the ***** going on with ***** street racing...or just from LOOSING SOMEONE to drunk driving, street racing, or just being DUMB and YOUNG!!

X elevinty thousand.

I never street raced in my life. I have had some very fast cars, and I kept it at the track. Age doesnt matter in motor vehicle stupidity.

You are supposed to be old enough to be responsible when you get your license. Too bad that in a lot of cases, that just isn't possible.

Driving is a priveledge, not a right.

well dont think for a second it cant happen at the track.lets say your making a run u get to the 1/8 mark and your tierod snaps and u slam into the barrier doing 90+mph,not saying it will kill you but i bet ull get a fast ride to the ER.

unfortunetely a lot of street racing in done in my area. seen the after math of al ot of crashes. Hurts to think aobut it knowing many of those were people in the military. Eglin Airforce base next to my town so LOTs of airforce guys driving fast.

we got a track like an hour away but its not even a 1/4 mile, costs per run, and only certain days of the month its open to open drag. Also we dont have any autocross

so its the street.

OP got off lucky. Better send the judge a thank you card because he saved you from writing it in jail.

I AGREE WITH YOU 110%....but no one deserves DEATH...regardless of the FOOLISHNESS they've done...and i'm sure some of us feel that way, and most dont...at times i dont.
