I need a AC to DC adaptor that can run a stereo like the stereo shops have. Is there something that's cheap or not as expensive that the stereo shops might have?

A two or three amp power supply will power a deck. You'll need to jump up to five or six amps if you want to run four speakers.

If you plan on running subs & amp, you'll need to tell us the make & model of the amp and what it'll be connected to, in order to determine current draw.

If you plan on running subs, it won't be cheap.

Deep cycle battery + charger would do the trick.
