Hy I have a problem with my car i think I have a problem with my car idle valve control because the car go idle on 2.5 rpm .what can i do to clean the valve or how to clean the valve and what else can I do to resolve this problem before I go buy a new valve??
take it off and clean it....there should only be 2 size 12mm bolts holding it onto your inake manifold....you should see alittle screen in it, cleanthat part out, if it still does idle high, try adjusting your idle screw, it should be to the left of the IACV....turn it with a flat head clockwise to lower your idle or counter clockwise to make your idle higher.....
hope this helps...

Ok can i clean it with carb cleaner?? I alraedy try to tight the srew but it still do the same!!The car stay idle hy.What else can I look to low it.
If the idle stays up around 2.5k rpm, check the tightness of your throttle cable, make sure the throttlebody is not stuck partially open, and check for vacume leaks.
If the idle is surging up and down, first check you coolant level, then pull off and clean the idle air control valve(on the back of the intake manifold), then pull off the faste idle valve(on the bottom of the throttle body) and readjust it.
If you search the archives, there are threads on how to do all of this.
