alternative to carb can and fuel filter.?

hey guys i bought a EK from a friend of mine.
and he shaved off everything from the engine bay...
the OEM fuel filter doesn't have the mount wounts any longer, and the carb can has no mount either...what can i use as an alternative? what does everyone do when they shave stuff.?

I was under the impression that people just remove the EVAP canister all togather, being its mainly for emissions and has only a small affect on gas milage, when tucking things in engine bays.
Not sure about the fuel filter. Placed farther back perhaps?

as far as the fuel filter i would relocate to a different spot like somewhere near the rack and pinion. your gonna be doing some fabricating though so be prepared
