Fender rub if i add camber kit?
my car is lowered to a point where there's no finger gap in the front fender and the tire. the drop rate is destroying my tires, so what i want to know is, from that drop height, will adding a camber kit cause my tires to rub the fenders? there is absolutely no gap between the fender and tire, hell, the tire might be tucked in a little more.
any answers or previous experience with this will be appricated. i plan to pick up some skunk2 camber kit.

Have you gotten an alignment? Toe angle plays a bigger role in tire wear than camber for us. A bit of tucking shouldnt be too bad since mine is too. Just get an alignment and your tires rotated often.
But to answer your question Im pretty sure it shouldnt rub if only the gap is closed or if its tucking a bit.

i got an alignment and it still runs my tires pretty quick. im just trying to figure out a way to save tires a bit more. a little bit of spending here will probably save me more tire funds in the long run.
thnx for your input. im probably gonna get the camber kit and hope for the best.

you'll get some fender rub or splash guard rub if you add a camber kit and adjust till you get 0 or -1 camber. If toe is already at 0 on all 4 corners, and you're getting wear issues, then something else is wrong. Its been proven in the suspension forum that even if you have -4 degrees front camber, it wont wear abnormally if toe is at 0. Maybe you should request printed results of your alignment. And make sure you're doing a 4 wheel alignment.
well pretty much i dont want to be buying tires every 6 months because of the bad camber.
im on koni yellows with sprint springs. i've had this setup for about 7 years now. usually the car was a weekend car, but i drive it more often now, and i've noticed the tire wear is more when i drive it daily (my other daily driver is going to ****) i really dont want to raise the car because i like the height so the camber kit is the next best thing.
how bad will the fenders be damaged do you think xcalibur? will i need to roll the fenders?

--- Like they said, it's most likely not because of your camber. When they did your alignment, Where did you go? Have you seen your data sheet of what they adjusted it to? They probably did something wrong, and if they didn't and everything is set in spec. It's something larger than your camber being off. There isn't anyway with a good alignment and tow being negative that you should need tires every 6 months. I would have them check your car again, and see how it goes. Every 6 months = tire change is horrible. Unless your buying some hoopD *** tires for like 10 bucks with 15% tread on them haha. Then that sounds about right.

you fenders wont get banged up. It'll just rub on the splash guards a lot more. What you shoudl be worried about is the upper A-arm hitting the shock towers and possibly denting them from the inside.
