eg si gsr swap done getting code 22
i got my car donewitha gsr swap the car runs fine but somtimes it feels like it doesn't have power around 7500-8000 rpm couple my friends say that my vtec is not kicking in. i have a cel and its 22 the vtec pressure switch but the motor has oil and i changed the oil today can anyone help me.
You should be able to hear vtec fairly easy on a b-series. If you have a CEL then vtec wont work. Try changing the pressure switch since thats what the code is for.

not always true it depends on what code.
I had the same problem, but mine was because my motor was a Jdm Itr motor witch doesnt even have a vtec pressure valve, but the Usdm ecu was looking for it therefore throwing a code. I had to wire up the vtec pressure valve wire from the ecu into the vtec solinoid wire so vtec wouldnt cut out..
does vtec even engage in your gsr swap, and is it a JDM model or what.
