big problems with 93 integra with b18a!!!
well my car was running fine until yesterday i took the fitv an iacv off to clean them out to fix my little idle problem...well after i was done my car didnt want to start but it finally did and would idle worth crap, and didnt have no acceleration.. like i would floor it in neutral and itl take like 20 sec. to get to 5 grand lol...and then i took the hose for the pcv valve out so it can stay idleing so i can check everything out and
new cat..so i turned the car off and waited so i can unbolt the headers and see if the cat was the problem and then my car would start at all... so my bro came and helped me and told me to turn it over while he checks for spark...so wen i was doing that he took the #1 spark plug wire out and it started..but if i try to start it with the #1 spark plug wire in it wont start, so im like wtf itll start on 3 cylinders but not four...so if any one knows wat is up can you give me some input.....

The bad wires would mean that your not getting an effective spark, therefore leading to incomplete combustion and a rich mixture. Incomplete combustion with a rich mixture would mean that you have to many fuel particles entering the cat causing it to work extra hard and being that the catalytic coverter is changing the bad emmisions to better via chemical reactions it causes heat. And if its working too hard to change all that unburned fuel that means the cat would be over heating and causeing it to glow red. so yes your wires could possibly cause the cat to glow. Do you have a dvom?
digital volt meter, you can set it to ohms and check the resistance of your spark plug wires. Let me know if you got one i'll tell you how to do it. or you could just by new wires and see if it helps. Later
