Default B16B Guys And Other Engine Gurus

I've been searching and reading this for a long time now. I want to throw in a GSR crank into my b16b block and build it for boost.

Before anyone starts flaming on why I want to do that to a good rare block. The thing is I picked up the motor from a family member who didn't want it anymore for 300 bucks. But I've always loved boost and that's why I wanted to build this for boost.

Anyway, I keep getting to threads where some people would say the block is the same as the GSR and ITR block where you can throw in a GSR crank and rods and turn it into a 1.8l and then there are those other people are who saying it's NOT the same and that it's the same block as the b16a.

Too many confusing answers, just need people who actually KNOW the answer to chime in. Thanks

B16b block is the same as an ITR-GSR block, only difference is the engine stamp on the front
