Default b16b engine... with another block

i know b18c and b16b block are the same height
b18a/b is a little bit shorter...
i also know what an ls-vtec is...

the thing is, i can get a b16b for cheap but the block... is damaged but not the intern.
what i'm asking is could i put b16b crank/rod/piston in a b18b block? cause i have one laying around and doesnt feel like buying a gsr block
anyone did it here?

any downside on this build?

i think i found out the crank will not work cause the bearing aren't the same size so this mean... won't work at all

The deal is that the B16B block is a P72.

This the exact block used on the the GSR and ITR blocks as well. Either of them are a direct replacement. The crank is simply a detroked version of the ITR crank
