Im confused you have a complete setup from a integra for your whip what year is your eg by the way? and do you need a piggy back? If you have the ecu out of the integra you shouldnt need a piggy back, and if you don't have the ecu from the integra an ecu off of ebay for a 96 integra would be cheaper and much easier than a piggy back, if you can't find one buy a socketed p28 and a conversion harness (type in obd2 harness in google) and try a base map that is recommended for your setup (20$)and go from there

Are you trying to make it OBDI or OBDII?

Well if you want it to be a legal swap youd have to make the car OBDII but idk if its like that everywhere or just here in CA.

if the car is already OBDII then yes. If not then your gunna need a conversion harness and a OBDI ECU.

Ugh here we go with another obd1 to 2 conversion topic, With the idea of changing the car to meet the motor.

DO IT RIGHT!
Change the motor to the car! It will be better for you in the long run.

this is what you need.
injectors
alt
distributor
wiring harness
ECU

thats it, And then every thing will be easier for you in the long run.

You purchased a OBD2 motor for you OBD1 car. It will not be a direct swap, You will have to convert your car now to match you motor. this is why I told you to match the motor to the car, It would be better in the long run

ok, heres the whole story,
i had a friend wreck his ls ek hatch, but the motor was ok, so i got the whole swap from him to go in my eg. i understand that i need an obd1 ecu, but what about the wiring harness, do i need another one from an obd2 integra, or will the one i thats on it work.

thanks.

p.s. you cant plug the 96 obd2 ls harness in to you car wuth out macking some unnessessary mods dont lisen to venomzz he has no idea what hes talking about and aparently he cant read

If you got the motor off a ek then you probably got the 96-00 Civic's one piece harness as well. Get an Integra engine harness and it should plug into the harness by the passenger shock tower.

to make it easy on you. use your eg VX harness. im pretty sure the VX uses a 5 wire o2, you'll have to rewire that for a 4 wire o2. you either have to repin the dizzy for obd1 or get a obd1 LS dizzy. trade your obd2 LS ecu for a obd1 ecu. use your injectors from your d16. rewire the alternator for obd1 or get a obd1 alternator. get rear T bracket from a DC intergra. stay obd1, its easier in the long run when you upgrade. and its easier for you to pass smog. plus 1 o2> 2 o2's. chipping ecu.

p75 is Ls, p72 is gsr. knoe what u can do to swap the obd2 Ls in ur vx. very easy, just get obd2 integra engine harness and it will be plug and play. it will plug up in ur shock tower plugs as well, so now worrie. u won't have to covert anything, just use ur stock obd1 Ls ecu and u'll be fine. u won't have to change ur injectors, distributor, intake manifold, and etc. this would be easier and u don't have to deal with so much.
