Default help identifying hondata k-pro..

Ok, so my buddy picked up a rsx type-s, the owner said that it was running hondata k-pro, we took out the ecu to check, it looks stock as far as I can see.
Has PRB on the serial. Here's the catch, there's no rev limiter and no fuel cut off, so is it possible that it has been reflashed?

no there is no usb port.

yes I can rev past 5500, vtec engages before then also. Rev'd it to 8800rpms and still no cut off. So I'm assuming that its a reflash?

another thing, there is a blue mark (like a blue marker) next to the ecu serial and also a mark on the right plug, the plug that is by itself.

37820-PRB-A05 2068-514734 is stickered on top of the plugs when you open the ecu.

On the outside of the ecu is stickered 37820-PRB-A06. hope that helps

Open the ECU up. If there is an attached board it is a K100. If not then it has been reflashed.

The Kpro will have some kind of USB connection.

check

it appears to be reflashed. This is the program I believe:
http://www.clubrsx.com/cr/HD-K20A-p-ECUR.html

the link above states vtec at 5200rpm and redline at 8800rpm. But must be used with ITR manifold and cams.

Yeah call hondata and give them your info to see if it is or not. My buddy was in the same situation and found out he had reflash.
