Default spun bearing

hey all..i recently bought a crx that has a dohc zc swap and it spun a rod bearing. the crank is a little nicked up but not bad, so i talked to a well known engine builder in the area and he said i could use an undersized bearing just to be sure. so i bought some emery cloth and im gonna try to clean it up a little, do you guys think it will be ok this way? thanks!

just get a crank that is in good condition and go from there. why risk and skimp on a part that endures a lot of stress!!!!!

If honda crankshafts are in need of undersized bearings the crank is to be replaced only.
